In collaboration with SquareCell for the NSW Ministry of Health, we created five character animations exploring the effects of drugs and alcohol on the developing brain.

Inspired by the idea of a "lightbulb moment," the quirky lightbulb characters provided a simple visual metaphor for the brain, allowing us to communicate the effects of alcohol, cannabis, MDMA, vaping, and mixing alcohol with antidepressants through flickering lights, colour changes, and dimming effects. The result was a series of engaging, accessible animations that translated complex neuroscience for young audiences.
